Content Studio stops working after upgrading to SQL Server 2005

Symptoms

After upgrading SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005 Content Studio stops working.

Cause

Content Studio is developed against Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and due to changes in the behaviour in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 some of the database code has been incompatible.

Resolution

Customers that like to upgrade to SQL Server 2005 must upgrade all Content Studio installations running on the targeted SQL Server to at least version 4.0 build 1010. Older versions will not work.
